Karol,
Hausman, Sosnik & Finchum, L.L.P., offers a highly
professional, yet completely personalized, approach to an
individual's and family's Elder Law and estate planning needs.
We understand that these subjects are at times a difficult
topic for discussion and implementation. It is our belief that
our ability to communicate and our commitment to implement our
clients' goals in a manner that meets their needs while
comforting our clients is the foundation to our success. |

Karol,
Hausman & Sosnik began as a partnership in 1994 in Garden
City,
New York
and in
Florida
in 1997. Our firm consists of young, enthusiastic
professionals that provide responsive, detailed service to our
clients. All partners of the firm have extensive
experience with internationally renowned firms.
We
believe everyone can benefit from proper legal planning.
Whereas the wealthy client can save substantial dollars by
reducing estate taxes, families with limited wealth can protect
their assets in order to maintain an inheritance for their
family and plan for the possibility of long term care.
Without addressing the potential for needing long term care in
many instances there will eventually be no “estate” to plan
for.

Since
an individual can have many objectives when implementing his or her
estate plan, we attempt to work with a client's financial
institution, financial planner, insurance specialist, real
estate/corporate attorney and accountant. This approach can
only benefit the client and allows for the proper and comprehensive
analysis of the client's financial and estate planning needs.
We
take great pride in being able to provide clients and other
professionals, such as financial planners, insurance specialists,
trust officers and money managers with a high level of technical
expertise. We accomplished this in large part due to the
extensive number of educational seminars we provide for these
professionals. In fact, we have been licensed by the New York
State Department of Insurance to teach courses for which
professionals will receive the continuing education credits
necessary to maintain their insurance licenses. In Florida Mr.
Finchum has taught other professionals in over 250 hours of
certified continuing education courses on various legal
subjects. These programs have been approved by the Florida Bar
as meeting their strict requirements in awarding continuing legal
education credits for those who attend. In addition to
educational seminars, our attorneys have been published numerous
times and have appeared on several radio programs.
